Feeding by natural food

Each product has its own useful qualities, because it contained nutrients. But there is no such a product that would contain all!

Therefore, if you choose organic foods to feed your Jack, observe the principle of rotation: the products should be varied. This diversity allows the dog has all necessary nutrients that we talked about earlier.

If you chose a new product to feed Jack, Jack wouldn’t eat it for the first time, but it doesn’t mean he did not need it, just because it was unusual. Introduce new products gradually, in small portions.

Thus, in your diet must contain the following products.

Meat. This can be beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, beef offal, such as heart, liver, giblets. Raw meat has a higher energy value and easier to digest than cooked. However, in raw meat may contain helminth eggs, so it is better to frost.

Pork should not be given, because it is too fatty food for Jack and can cause diarrhea.

Fish. Give only marine fish without bones. The nutritional value of fish is smaller than the meat, so the portion of fish should be about twice as much.

Dairy products. Low-fat cottage cheese, yogurt, buttermilk, cheese, are rich sources of protein and digestible fats, vitamins and minerals. However, the amount of dairy product in the diet should not limit due to high protein content.

Milk in its purest form contains lactose and can cause indigestion, so it is better not to give it to Jack.

Eggs are also a good source of protein. Give the boiled eggs.

Cereals. Oatmeal, millet, rice, buckwheat, corn grits, semolina are excellent sources of carbohydrates. Cereals should boil thoroughly on the water.

Any kinds of vegetables, such as carrots, celery, squash, cucumbers, apples, herbs, etc., should be given raw, grated or finely chopped. You can boil the vegetables before consumption, but they lose vitamins with heat treatment. Do not let your Jack potatoes, onions, garlic, turnip.
Combine foods in different variations composing a menu for your pet.
Standard combination is meat and cereals, vegetables.
Meat and fish should be given cut into pieces, but not in the form of minced meat. The fact is that in the dog's stomach minced meat does not have time to digest and semidigested goes out in the intestine where it starts putrefaction, which results in a disorder of the digestive system.

For 5 kg Jack daily portion of food should be 250-300 g Moreover, the amount of meat should be 10g at 1 kg of weight of the dog, ie meat is only 20% of the daily diet.

You can cook the food immediately before feeding or to prepare the mixture in advance and freeze it, portioned. This is very convenient, just get one bag and unfreeze by the time of the meal.

If Jack had not eaten his breakfast or dinner for 15-20 minutes, remove the bowl and discard the food, otherwise it will spoil.

The organization of proper nutrition Jack on the one hand, it is affordable, and on the other, it is quite laborious. We all live in the age of speed, in the bustling metropolis, we always need a couple of hours a day more. Of course, it will be very difficult for working owner to prepare the food to his Jack and make the menu diverse. There is a great risk to feed dog only by the meat, forgetting about all the other elements required to supply.

But if you find some free time for your pet, you’ll get a number of benefits before feeding by prepared feeds:

  • You know the composition of the products which are included in the diet of Jack and can control the quality.
  • Natural products are free from preservatives, fragrances, dyes and other chemicals, so popular nowadays.
  • Jacks eat natural products much more readily than dry food.
  • Natural products rarely cause allergies, it's important to Jack, who are quite allergenic dogs

The theme of sterilization/castration is quite trite: you have to do it if no obvious indications? Of course, each owner makes his own decision and adheres to some of his beliefs. We will not try anybody to convince of anything (why do we need another topic of controversy?), the following information for those who have a dog, who is still undecided in your opinion or does not know what the choice is. (for experienced dog walkers information can also be very interesting.
